Meet the Characters
Body
Junior and Dad's body is the first piece to their Matryoshka doll set. Body helps them move, play, work, explore, and experience the world through their five senses!
Soul
Soul is Junior and Dad's middle piece. Holding their thoughts, feelings, choices, and personality. It influences their mind on the experiences they are having and how to respond to the things that happen to them.
Spirit
Spirit is the deepest part of who Dad and Junior are. When they put their faith in Jesus, it's where God sent his Holy Spirit to come and live. Connecting with their spirits, is how God communicates to them.
About Us
The Authors
Hi, we are Aaron and Brooke, and we're so glad you're here!
We're parents of two teenagers, but our story with Body, Soul, and Spirit began when our kids were little. When we first learned about this concept, we couldn't find a children's book to help us explain it to them, so we decided to create one ourselves.
As our kids grew, we found that understanding Body, Soul, and Spirit gave us a helpful way to talk through big emotions, confusing thoughts, and difficult moments. It helped them better understand what they were feeling, recognize that a difficult moment didn't define who they were, and, as they got older, better understand Scripture and how God's truth applies to their lives.
We're so excited to share our very first children's book with you! We hope you'll join us as we grow Chain Breaker Children's Books and our vision for helping children discover who they are and who God created them to be.
